A Delivery to Sculpture Park

Patti, Lauren and Kara are playing at Sculpture Park .

They have been chasing each other through the piece of pipe.   The pukeko has been running around with them.   They hope they don’t trip over him.

Kara climbs to the top of the spiral and Lauren and Patti follow.

After lots of running around and playing with their ball they lie down and watch the clouds moving in the sky.  A friendly fantail flutters over to them and tells them that a truck is coming.   They stop talking and listen and yes, they can hear a truck coming closer.

It is Steve and John Sunshine and on the back of the truck is some playing equipment that John has made for Sculpture Park.  He has made a see-saw and swing set and a slide.

The girls watch as John and  Steve unload the truck. Some of the other native residents also come out of hiding from behind the bush to see what all the excitement is about.

The girls thank Steve and John and start playing on the new set up equipment.

Patti is the first to have a slide and Kara has a swing.  Lauren has to wait for one of the other girls to come and have a see-saw with her.   They all have an enjoyable day playing at the park.

Please note, Fluffy the kiwi is in some of these photos and he is sitting down so you can't see his legs.

LOVE
