Frozen Cereal

Joanne and Linda are looking at the poster of a new cereal called Frozen.

They are both keen to taste it so they go to the Supermarket to buy some.

They buy the Frozen cereal and the other grocery items they need, (New World supermarket collectables 2014).

As soon as they get home they put some in a bowl to taste. The Frozen cereal is  multigrain vanilla flavoured cereal shapes made from rice, whole grain oats and corn. Linda and Joanne both like the new cereal which is star and ball shapes.

This is the picture on the other side of the box of the Frozen cereal.

Cafe with Rugby World Cup Theme

Julie and Bridget are at the café having a coffee and cake. This month the café is supporting the All Blacks team in the Rugby World Cup. All the tables have black tablecloths and there are various posters on the walls.

The girls look at the RWC Hottest 1st XV poster and have a giggle.  Four of them are NZ Rugby players.

The girls look at the chocolate footballs for sale and are tempted to buy one but…

They have chosen to buy a special edition block of chocolate.

Makareta has brought an All Black micro-figure. Inside the packet was the figure of Beauden Barrett, a pamphlet of all the 30 figures to collect and on the other side a picture of the two puzzle pieces that are also in the packet to make your own rugby field.

Makareta is standing by a special edition of chocolate. At the time of the last rugby world cup games in 2011 Makareta was able to get one of the All Blacks team member's signature.   This year she is happy with her special edition block of chocolate to eat .

Makareta starts her morning like most kiwis and has weet-bix for breakfast each morning. At the moment you can buy the special week-bix tin container representing the All Blacks.

On 1st November 2015 the final rugby world cup game is on between the All Blacks and Wallabies.

Update: New Zealand won the final rugby game. The score was 34 to New Zealand and 17 to Australia. Bridget, Julie and Makareta have brought some peanut chocolate bars to celebrate.

They also buy a special Coca-Cola can with, Congratulations to the All Blacks winners of rugby world cup 2015. There will be enough Coca-Cola for all the Ginny’s to have a drink.

Talents at number 28

I went with a friend  to ask the owner of this letter box if I could take a photo of the letter box with Rose standing on the balcony.

The owner allowed the photo to be taken and his wife invited us inside to see what else her husband has made out of wood.

Here are two of the many wooden vintage cars that were on a shelf.

Rosa is standing by a Clydesdale horse. All the wooden items are made out of scrap wood.

Rosa is watching the man make horse shoes.

Rosa is standing by a beautiful carved horse.

Rosa walks to the corner of the room to meet the penguin who is standing in the shade.

The Black Panther has come over for a pat.

The tuatara silently crawls over and bites Rosa’s dress. Rosa turns around and gives him a pat. He is just been playful and is tame.

The fawn is looking for a drink from her mother.

The otter wants to go outside to the water.

Rosa has a ride on the tractor before she leaves.

Rosa admires the tapestry done by the lady of the house on her way out. She has had a wonderful time meeting the animals and will tell the other Ginny’s at home all about her visit to number 28.
