My Little Family, Little Friends or Dolly Heine Puppen-welt

My Little Family, Little Friends or Dolly Heine Puppen-welt are the three different names these dolls were sold under. One of the names was on the front of the pink box. The dolls were sold in the 1990's in New  Zealand.

The dolls came in two sizes 15 cm and 9 cm and are anatomically correct.

The 15 cm dolls have brunette or blonde hair. The girl dolls have long hair in one pony tail, two pony tails or two plaits.

They have furniture and accessories. In the photo there is cupboard and two pink chairs.

This photo shows the baby’s cradle, the bed and possibly a carry bed for baby.

The baby is sitting in the toy plane and there is a tricycle for the 15 cm size.

The triplets are getting out of bed. Maree is waiting for Mother to get her out of her cradle.

Vaine and Chrissy Help at the Love-a-bye Day Care Centre

Vaine and Chrissy are going to be helping at the Love-a-bye Day Care Centre today to learn skills in looking after babies. They have been shown where to go and they will be looking after twelve girls between the ages of 10 months and 18 months.

The first job they are asked to do is prepare the lunch for the baby girls. Vaine is going to cut up the pineapple into small pieces and put orange juice in the babies’ bottles and in plastic glasses for the girls who can drink from a glass. Chrissy is going to make the peanut butter sandwiches.

After Chrissy and Vaine give the girls their lunch they take them one at a time to the potty.

It takes them quite a while to settle them down on mats to have an afternoon sleep.

When they wake up Chrissy reads them some nursery rhymes.

Chrissy stays with them while they play with the toys while Vaine is setting up the ride on toys outside.

Vaine opens the outside door and the girls start crawling outside to play on the toys.

The supervisor comes outside and asks Chrissy and Vaine to bring the girls inside now because the mothers will start arriving to pick them up and take them home. Chrissy and Vaine leave the centre when the last girl is picked up. They have both enjoyed their day.

Love-A-Bye Baby Dolls

The first four dolls on the left are wearing their original clothes. The outfit is like a play suit and the side of pants do up with Velcro. These dolls came in a box with a comb and bottle. The doll on the right is wearing one of the package clothing outfits.

On the left is a Love-a-bye rocking horse and one the right is a ride on duck. The furniture/toys were wooden and were sold in a box with a doll.

The doll on the left is not a Love-a-bye doll but I keep him with them because he is 13 cm high and is anatomically correct. He has straight legs and no markings on him. The ride on toy also is not a Love-a-bye doll brand.

One doll is on a ride on duck and the other doll is pushing a push a long toy, (not a Love-a-bye toy).

These are some of the Love-a-bye wooden toys, rocking horse, ride on bear, ride on duck and push a long duck.

These three dolls are in bed for an afternoon sleep. It looks like one has woken up and wants to get out.
