ANZAC DAY 2022

Last year it was good to have the Anzac service again. In 2020 the service was cancelled and people came outside and stood by their letterboxes at 6 am in the morning.

This year the girls have been given a tin of Anzac biscuits and $1 from this tin goes to RSA NZ. This 2022 RSA NZ Collector’s Edition Tin is designed by Dame Trelise Cooper. On the back of the tin Dame Trelise Cooper says, “I believe it is important to commemorate the brave souls and their families who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we and future generations may live in Peace.

The girls have been to the 10 am Anzac service at Anzac Park and are their having morning tea with their drinks and Anzac biscuits from the tin they received. There was no order of service printed this year.

This is another Anzac tin that is available this year designed by Trelise Cooper.

Queen Elizabeth's 96th Birthday

The Amanda Jane dolls are going to celebrate the Queen’s 96th birthday at the Café with the Ginny dolls.

The theme at the Café is to wear red, white and/or blue.

Barbara has put on her light blue dress which her mother made years ago and it is still too big for her. She doesn’t want to wear it but her mother says that it is a nice dress and she will grow into it.

The waiter today is dressed in a Beefeater uniform. They are served a birthday cake with a knife for them to cut off a piece and a cup of tea.

This is the Queen’s official birthday photo. (I haven't got a copy yet).

The owner of the Café has put a life size wooden horse on the property for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. Customers are allowed to take their photo by the horse for a donation of $1.00 which will be given to a charity.

Margaret and Victoria have their photo taken by the wooden cut out horse.

Rosa and Makareta, who were in the Café with other Ginny dolls have come outside to have their photo taken by the wooden cut out horse.
