The Triplets First Birthday

Today the triplets celebrate their first birthday. Ginny Heidi is the Nanny for the day to look after the triplets, Maree, Mark and Michelle so their mother can get the party food organised.

Ginny’s first job is to get the triplets ready for their party which is at 3pm. Ginny goes into their bedroom where the triplets have woken up from their afternoon sleep and are ready to get out of their beds.

Ginny lifts them out their beds and takes them to the bathroom and puts them on the  potties. One has used the potty but the other two didn’t.

After she has washed them she changes the babies into their clothes.

Two babies are changed and she is putting the nappy on Mark.

All dressed. She carries Mark and the girls crawl to the Lounge.

Ginny puts them on the couch and gives them their bottles of milk.

They all drink their bottles of milk. Ginny sits them on the mat with the invited children who have come to their first birthday party.  The triplets are opening the presents given to them.

The babies have received a Sponge Bob toy, a wooden train, a Tupperware posting ball, plus many other toys.

Next they play Pass the Parcel. Ginny will start and stop the music while the white wrapped gift is passed around.

The second game they play is Simon Says. Ginny says, Simon says put your hands up above your head. The older children stand up and enjoy the game but it is too hard for the babies to follow the instructions quickly.

It is now nearly 3.30 and afternoon tea is ready.  The children sit around the table and Ginny puts the triplets together at the table for them to blow out the candle on their birthday cake. The cake is then taken away and cut up for the children to eat.

The children are picked up by their parents to go home between 4.30 and 5 pm.  At 6.30 Ginny gets the triplets ready for bed. Just after 7 pm Ginny goes into their bedroom to check if the babies are asleep…and they are. Ginny Heidi can go home now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023

Sylvia is holding the “Happy New Year 2023” sign. The pukeko standing by Lorraine has wandered over to see what is happening.

The biscuit tin shows six maps of New Zealand. The left top one is two cassette tapes in the shape of New Zealand. The top middle map is done with the rivers that flow through New Zealand. The top right map is done with Rocky Road slice. The lower left map features jelly jet lollies with a smoke trail that has made New Zealand. The middle lower map is Shushi and the salmon in the Shushi forms New Zealand. The lower right map is done with Neapolitan ice cream.

Lorraine and Shelly are playing with their dolls. Lorraine is holding a Flatsy Patsy doll which was available in the early 1970’s. Shelly has her two flat dolls that have clip on plastic clothes.

Marion is playing with her homemade Pooh Bear.
