Gumnut Babies
Rosa is standing by one of her favourite books, Snugglepot
and Cuddlepie Meet Mr Lizard by May Gibbs.
This adaption was first published in Australia by Angus and
Robertson Publishers in 1970. This book
is a reprint done in 1985. May Gibbs
died in 1909 and gave her approval for Noela Young to reproduce her original
characters.
Ten Little Gumnuts by May Gibbs and illustrated by Vicky Kitanov. This book was published in 1990 by Collins/Angus & Robertson Publishers Australia.
This is a picture of the centre of a pillowcase, which
measures 54cm by 35cm.
